Charlie Young’s Initiative to Provide School Uniforms to Children in Need

For many children in Kenya, getting an education is not just about attending school—it’s about fitting in and feeling confident. Unfortunately, for thousands of underprivileged students, the simple requirement of wearing a school uniform becomes a barrier to learning. At Charlie Young, we believe that no child should be left out because of financial struggles. That’s why we launched the Dress Me Up Initiative, a program dedicated to providing school uniforms to children from low-income families.

More Than Just a Uniform

A school uniform is more than just clothing; it’s a symbol of dignity, belonging, and opportunity. In many Kenyan schools, students without uniforms often face stigma, low self-esteem, and even exclusion from class.
