OUR FOCUS IS MAKING AGRICULTURE ATTRACTIVE TO THE YOUTHS AND THE WORLD AT LARGE. THIS IS BY OUR COMBATING CREATIVITY IN FINDING SOLUTIONS TO DIFFERENT AGRICULTURAL PROBLEMS.

THE CHALLENGE
Climate change
Kenya being classified as arid or semi-arid, climate change is a significant threat to the lives and livelihoods of the people in the rural. Therefore, adopting to the climate is a vital goal for farmers to ensure they can withstand the impacts long-term.

Rural urban migration
Youths moving from the rural to go find white collar jobs and other professions in the cities is causing skill development gap in the agriculture sector. Only 10% of youths are in agricultural labour force out of 60% that constitute the total youth labour force, as a result this has reduced productivity and economic activities. Curbing rural urban migration among youths is essential to enable them develop their skills at the grassroots level.

Growing population
Increasing population as well as increasing family sizes has led to lad fragmentation hence decline in farm sizes. Therefore, creativity and innovations need to be applied to feed the whole population.
Ecosystem degradation
Effects of soil erosion, loss of soil organic matter, nutrient imbalance, waterlogging, loss of soil biodiversity etc. makes agricultural lands less productive therefore action needs to be taken to restore the situation.
